Children and Young People

Level UP Mini Saints + Plus Saints

Calling all young people! An exciting opportunity for you to experience faith in a fun way...
Mini and Plus Saints explore the meaning of Sanctified, used by Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians, in their worship and workshop today. (January 2020)
Who says learning about the bible stories cannot be fun?
The Mini and Plus Saints can be seen giving feedback to the congregation as they explore the concepts of Fairness and Equality; also Patience as they had to wait until the end of the service before consuming their marshmallow symbols!
At the Mothering Sunday Service the Rev Gemma Turner dedicated the banner and flag of the +Plus and Mini Saints. Our group(s) have been making these emblems over the last few weeks and we were pleased to show them to the congregation who had been eagerly anticipating the results of our efforts...
(March 2019)
+ Plus Saints
Appeals to the 9-14 age group. Meets every Sunday at 10 am and is held during the main church service.

Creative ideas, challenges and discussions contribute to helping older children to understand more about the Christian Faith, through fun engagement, confidence building on life, friendships, community and the world around.

Mini Saints

Meet weekly during the Sunday 10 am service.  The children are welcomed at the beginning of the service then go with their leaders to the hall where a creative interaction with Bible stories, linked to the Gospel of the day, takes place.

Children return prior to the Eucharist and relate what they have been learning to the congregation.
